INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY PANEL (IAP)
International Advisory Panel
The International Advisory Panel (IAP) is a high-level advisory body of the World Islamic Economic Forum Foundation. The IAP provides strategic guidance and recommendations on the direction and programmes of the WIEF Foundation.
The IAP comprises eminent personalities from various countries who have distinguished themselves in their respective fields of business, academia, and public service. The panel meets regularly to discuss and advise on matters pertaining to the advancement of economic cooperation and business partnerships in the Muslim world.
Role of the IAP
- To provide strategic advice and guidance to the WIEF Foundation on its programmes and activities
- To recommend initiatives that promote economic cooperation among Muslim countries
- To facilitate networking and partnerships between business leaders across the Muslim world
- To advise on matters relating to trade, investment, and economic development in OIC member countries
IAP Meeting
The International Advisory Panel Meeting was held on 7th September 2006 in Islamabad, Pakistan, in conjunction with the 2nd World Islamic Economic Forum.
